Day: 9 November 2014

In a packed Methodist Church on Thursday night, Churches Together Around Ludlow launched their latest report on troubles facing Ludlow. The report gives great credit to the community volunteers who are working hard to mitigate the impact of cuts, but offered no support for Shropshire Council’s approach in hard times.

Consultations and plans for health services (Future Fit) are at the top of the agenda for the next meeting of the Ludlow and Clee Area Local Joint Committee (LJC) on Thursday 13 November. There will also be an opportunity for residents to engage with councillors and the police. Everyone is welcome. LJC chairman Richard Huffer explains: “The LJC is not like a conventional committee meeting. It’s more an open forum to explain and debate the changes going on in our communities here in Ludlow and Clee.”
