Voting & finding your polling station 6 May

Polling station checker by Democracy Club.

Many of you will have voted by post already. If not, I hope that you can get out to the polling stations on Thursday 6 May. There has been much talk of this being a low turnout election. I hope not. Local democracy has taken a battering in recent years and it is important that we engage with it rather than just complain about it.

You must wear a mask to vote and please take your own pen or pencil.

There are reports of some people having not yet received polling cards. You don’t need a polling card or proof of identity to vote. If you want to check you are on the electoral roll or anything else about the elections, contact the elections team at Shirehall 0345 678 9015.
