Updated: 17:50pm Sunday. This post will not now be updated as the disruption appears to be over.
In the last few minutes the company has said: “A normal service will operate between Cardiff and Shrewsbury/Manchester.”

There are again no trains running through Ludlow on the Shrewsbury to Cardiff line.
Just after midday Sunday, Arriva Train Wales announced 15 trains in each direction on Monday. However, a few hours later the company said:
“Hi Andy, at present there is no confirmed information about services tomorrow. As soon as information becomes available we will broadcast on twitter and here: arrivatrains.wales/check“
Not for the first time, were we are getting contradictory information from Arriva. However, the company has since said: “A normal service will operate between Cardiff and Shrewsbury/Manchester.”

Some services are not run by Arriva Train Wales
It seems surprising that Arriva Train Wales is not able to run a service between Shrewsbury and Hereford. The continued disruption might be because of damage to the trains identified last Tuesday night.
I have had three reports of trains running through Ludlow without this weekend (they may have been all the same train). These have been the usual turquoise units and may have been Arriva Train Wales moving units to other areas. I haven’t been able to verify these reports.
